Problema Rom a Roma
Vengono chiamati rumeni ma in realtà i Rom sono un popolo indoeuropeo, appartenente al gruppo degli zingari (detti pure zigani o gitani). La stessa Romania , da cui molti di questi gruppi vengono , non li ama. Dopo l'episodio di Tor di Quinto Roma , l'Italia e la stessa Romania ne sono rimaste scioccate. Ma questo episodio singolo ha fatto venire alla luce un problema assai piu trascurato nella capitale : Cosa fare di questi campi profughi e di coloro che li abitano? A giorni verrà approvato un nuovo piano di legge. Mentre i giornali e tv fanno dilagare il razzismo e la xenofobia con i loro "servizi ad hoc".. la tensione cresce.. I cittadini stranieri , che lavorano legalmente e che non infraggono nessuna legge hanno paura di subire ritorsioni ingiuste , e altri organizzano barbariche rese dei conti alla far west. L'unica speranza è che venga approvata una legge giusta e che coloro che invece lavorano onestamente non subiscano altre ritorsioni da parte di improvvisati cowboy senza testa.
Gypsy Rom problem in Rome
They're commonly called Rumenians but actually they're an indoeuropean people , belonging to a group of gypsies. Rumenia itself , from where the most of these groups derive , doesn't love them at all. After the tragic episode of Tor Di Quinto in Rome , the capital , Italy and Rumenia are shocked. But this single episode highlighted a problem that has been way covered in the past years : What shoul we do of this "Unlegal camps" and of those who inhabit? Italian parliament is about to pass a new law within a few days regarding the inquiry "Immigrants". And in the meanwhile Tv News and Magazines make racism and xenofoby spread out.. Fear echos reign among citizens. Foreigners who legally work and live in Rome are afraid to be object of controversial vengeances from New Millennium cowboys who on the otherside have already started up their own crusade setting up unproper actions and most of all unlegittimate ones. Especially because those they're hitting are those ones who legally work and live in Rome peacefully, on their own. The only hope we're left is that the law which is about to be passed at the parliament is going to be a decent law and that this wave of racism and xenofobia is about to end real soon.
